Where is...

Some of you may be wondering where our gelato bar at the Landmark went to. Well, upper management has decided to move our bar to somewhere bigger and better, so stay tuned for more info!

A few more people have also decided to spread the gelato love, so we'll be coming out with a list of where you can find us soon :) Thank you for your patience!

MokkiLato Gelato's catering service has been featured on the Inquirer!

We've been featured in Chef Reggie Aspiras' Inquirer column Kitchen Rescue. We catered at her son's birthday party (so CUTE), and we're glad she was happy with it. Thank you Chef Reggie! :)

Remember, we can make regular gelato, fat-free gelato (summer is here, bikini time!), soy-based gelato (for vegans/lactose-intolerant) and yogurt-based desserts (hello fro-yo)!

More Good News! Gelato dealership program, new brochure

Hey everyone!

We've finalized our dealership program, if you're interested in becoming a member of the MokkiLato family, e-mail us to find out how.

Again, we are NOT a franchise. Using a dealership system means you choose your selling price. We won't charge you any franchise or royalty fees. Ever. We understand that some locations incur higher costs than others, that's why we feel that the dealership system works out well for everyone. We want to control the quality of our gelato, and with Manila (and the Philippines in general) so large, we need all the help we can get to spread the gelato love.

Good news! MokkiLato now offers a catering service!

Bongiorno, fellow gelato lovers! Another project is unveiled! Phew, it seems like we're making projects happen faster than we're blogging.

We now offer catering services in the greater Metro Manila area. For a minimum amount of only Php 6,000, the catering package includes a gelato display freezer, SIX (6) gelato flavors of YOUR choice, a crew member to help hand out the gelato, and all the other knicknacks needed to have everyone enjoy MokkiLato Gelato! That's enough to cover 100-120 people. If you need more gelato than that, add Php 500 for every 10 additional people.

To see our list of flavors, visit our website and take a look at the gelato list. If what you want isn't there, talk to us and we might be able to come up with tasty options and/or alternatives.

If you're not in the Metro Manila area but would really like to have us cater our delicious gelato at your event, call us or e-mail us and we'll do our best to work with you.

For those who don't want the whole catering package, remember, you can order individual gelato flavors from us, with sizes ranging from 1/2 gallon - upwards, or if you prefer kilograms, we do that too.

Work Updates!

Woohoo! We really love our jobs (aside from the fact that we taste each and every single batch of gelato that we make to make sure it tastes good)! We get to work with the food we love and at the same time find ways to share it with you guys. Decorating the gelato-filled pans is fun too, sprinkles and wafer sticks are mad fun. Fruits are sticky, but they make everything look so pretty! Don't worry, we keep everything clean and sanitary, like using gloves and hairnets (totally uncool looking, but we do it all for you).

Support at the trade shows has been amazing. We've constantly had to refill pans, sometimes even in less than an hour. So keep taking those pictures and blog about us. Spread the gelato love around! And don't forget to send us the link!

The remaining projects that we have for 2008 are really coming along well, so far we've managed to get a couple of places carrying our gelato (still hush-hush on who, but they're awesome). We're throwing around ideas, like a health line, but nothing is set in stone yet. We're getting our creative juices flowing and have a lot in store for MokkiLato, so thank you for your continuing support! :)

MokkiLato Gelato to be at several trade shows and bazaars in Manila!

Hey everyone!

MokkiLato has a lot in store for the 2009 year! We've got projects in the works, and we're planning to put up more gelato bars up. We've got some cool ideas and new flavors that will come out late in 2009 and a few more restaurants to carry the MokkiLato name :) We'll be making our appearance at trade shows and bazaars so stay tuned in '09 for more info!
